Jackson Dies
June 27th, 2009
Can’t say I’m into all the mourning considering the guy was a monster for the last 25 years of his life but it’s a great excuse to post this James Chance cover.

The Failed NASA Experiment – Alegria en Directo
March 31st, 2009
Hola
There’s a free download release by The Failed NASA Experiment (the Crispin Glover of psychedelic noise) on our favourite tiny little net-label ‘Foetal Orange‘.
It’s a 35 minute improv/jam called ‘Alegria en Directo’.
Lustfaust – Live: Rampa Del Lingotto, Torino – 08.11.08
March 30th, 2009
Commissioned by unosunove gallery to play at the Artissima art fair in Turin, Italy, Lustfaust performed an auditory and visual spectacle at the foot of the old Fiat Factory ‘Lingotto’ (info and pictures).
The live recording (straight from the desk, no shitty bootleg here) is now available as either a limited to 100 copies c-45 cassette with handmade booklet packaging or super high quality mp3 download (you get a download copy for free if you buy the cassette).
As a special bonus, the mp3 version is only 1 english pence for the next 2 weeks (until April 10th) so get on it.
So the oft discussed record label is finally upon us.
The Lows and the Highs is open for business. Starting with the (plexus) collective back catalogue of improvised, free music, assemblages; folk/noise/drone conjurings from The Failed NASA Experiment; an early shot of dj_spleenbaby electronics and Rod Warner’s solo divinations in to gospel fueled Warner-tronics (Roderick A Warner) and ‘free step’ (think dub step only free like free jazz) from whitedog.
You can listen to almost everything before digging into your pockets and sourcing some super high quality mp3s or handmade limited run cd-r/cassettes.
